This means that no optical brighteners, such as chlorine, are used in the production. The colour of the paper is off-white, which gives it a natural, slightly vintage look. No new trees are used for Biotop paper, but wood waste from sawmills. I also use as many recyclable and recycled materials as possible in the packaging and shipping process.
